Mokokoma operates mokokoma.co.za. For privacy questions or requests, contact studio@mokokoma.co.za.

Information handled when you visit

This site is published as static pages. It does not currently use advertising trackers, analytics software, or site-set cookies. The web host may receive routine request data such as an IP address, browser details, requested page and request time in server logs for delivery, troubleshooting and security. The host controls its own log retention; ask the hosting provider for its current schedule. The bundled interface scripts can use browser local or session storage for interface state. This is not used for advertising or analytics.

Messages sent from the contact page

The contact form prepares an email in your email application. The name, address, subject and message you enter are placed in that draft; the form does not send them to a Mokokoma web server. If you send the email, Mokokoma receives the message and normal email header information. We use it to reply, handle the enquiry and keep any records needed for legitimate business or legal purposes. Your email provider may process the draft and sent email under its own terms.

Use, access and correction

We use personal information only for the purpose for which it was provided, related follow-up, security or a purpose permitted by law. You may ask what personal information Mokokoma holds about you and request a correction. Contact studio@mokokoma.co.za and describe the request. If we do not make a requested correction, you may ask us to attach a statement of correction, under the Privacy Act 2020. The Act also sets limits on collection, use, retention and disclosure.

Retention and security

We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, maintain business records or meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it where practicable. Email and hosting providers may retain copies under their own retention and backup systems. We use reasonable safeguards for information under our control, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Service providers and overseas handling

The web host and the email services used by the sender or recipient may process information in countries outside New Zealand. Their handling is governed by their own terms and applicable law. Mokokoma does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
